I just realised that I never even mentioned that I've finished Anne Frank's diary. It was at least three weeks ago. That's one thing I've been meaning to talk about. I also watched the movie which was based on the book and came out in 1959. Terrible! They changed so many facts and I didn't like that at all.
I can't believe that Miep, one of the helpers, is still alive. I'd love to meet her and talk about it, but I expect a lot of people want to do that. One day when I manage to traverse Europe, I'm going to visit the house that the Frank family hid in.
That was pretty much all I had to say about it.

I remember reading the Diary in school, along with a book called Number the Stars. As a kid, they really did a great job of approaching the Holocaust in a way that made me, as a kid at the time, truly understand what a terrible thing it was. I'm not sure if Number the Stars (Lois Lowry...I think?) holds up after so many years, but you should check it out!
Actually, someone else recommended that to me aswell, but I didn't get around to buying it yet. Thanks!
